FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
After 13 years Inchained is scheduled to release their second EP in late 2025! Inchained released their debut EP in 2012 entitled Redeemer. The Christian Black metal act from Corbin, Kentucky received mixed reviews as the rock media struggled to find a category for Inchained [*1]
A mix of traditional atmospheric Black metal and Thrash Inchained’s debut release was unique and the band will continue with the same type of unique approach. Inchained’s lead guitarist and vocalist William Shackleford said “The first album was hurried, we had no producer, no engineers, just me and we hurried to get this done. This time? I’m not in any hurry.”
The band may also invite multiple guest musicians to participate in the recording of the EP. Shackleford added “We may have a few big names that “may” help us out this go around. I can’t say their names at this time but everyone knows one or two of these dudes in the Death metal community, that’s for dang sure. But it’s a CHRISTIAN project, it’s not simply a music project. And I have been trashed for 13 solid years after the first release due to the religious content. It’s done nothing but motivate me, the ridicule is welcomed! Unless you’re a Christian, I’m not explaining it to you, I’m not your typical Christian musician.” Inchained will release their second EP via their own label Black Station Productions, who also released Out of the Black - A Black metal Documentary in 2013.
